A huge congratulations to Renee from Quirk Studio for creating a beautifully polished website for her own business, and being July's 2026 Gold Design Award winner.

In October 2022, Renee won what was then called Rocketspark's Site of the Month, the equivalent of today's Gold Design Award, for the Quirk Studio website. Now she's taking gold a second time with a stunning refresh of that same site. This design has an elegantly curated feel, with a simple, considered style that lets her portfolio and photography shine.

The clean structure, with thin divide lines across the stacks, makes everything feel spacious and well-balanced. Renee has shaped the whole site to feel warm and inviting, with soft styling and plenty of breathing room that draws you in. The photography is clear and professional, staying on theme with the colour palette so all the brand touchpoints connect. The fonts are well considered and pair together nicely. Quirk Studio's creativity comes through in that simplicity, letting the work speak for itself.
