A huge congratulations to Liz from LW Creative for winning a Gold Rocketspark Design Award for Dorset Construction for August 2025.
This win carries a great backstory. Dorset Construction first launched its website in July 2022 and was recognised as a finalist in what was then called Rocketspark Site of the Month, the equivalent of today’s Silver Design Award. Now, three years on, the site has been fully refreshed with a bold new look and relaunched alongside an updated brand identity, earning a well-deserved Gold Rocketspark Design Award.
The new site strikes a balance between professionalism and approachability. Strong grid-based layouts, thoughtful typography and sharp, high-quality imagery instantly communicate confidence and credibility. The use of clean lines, parallax on scroll stacks and a carefully refined colour palette reflects the business’s growth and evolving vision.
The content compliments the design and supports the customer journey, making it easy for visitors to explore services and view recent projects. The design adapts seamlessly to mobile, maintaining clarity and visual impact across devices.
It’s clear that both designer and client understand the power of great design. This refreshed website is a brilliant example of how strategic updates can keep a brand relevant in 2025 and beyond.

This newly launched website is a beautiful evolution from what was previously just a homepage. Now expanded into a full multi-page experience, the site showcases the brand’s personality and expertise with clarity and confidence.
Visually, the site feels clean, modern and distinctly on-brand. The clever use of bold colours against generous white space gives the layout a bright, energetic feel without overwhelming the user. Bold sans serif typefaces set a professional yet approachable tone, while the site breaks away from the typical grid with creative background images and custom icons that make the experience truly engaging and memorable.
Each page has been carefully structured to guide visitors through Dimple’s services, team and work, with clear calls to action and a consistent visual rhythm throughout. The copy is concise and well-paced, allowing the design to breathe and the message to land effectively.
On mobile, the experience holds strong. Stacks adapt seamlessly, and spacing remains intuitive, making browsing feel effortless on any device.

This website is a beautiful example of how strong visual storytelling can bring a brand to life. From the moment you land on the homepage, the stunning custom photography sets the tone, capturing the clarity, craftsmanship and premium quality of Buckingham Distillery’s products with precision. Every image feels intentional and polished, allowing the gin to shine in a way that feels both luxurious and approachable.
The design leans confidently into a clear, grid-based layout that gives the site a sense of structure and sophistication. Elegant spacing, restrained colour use and considered typography all work together to create a refined and balanced experience. It's a layout that feels original and effortless.
Another standout feature is the Our Recipes page, where beautifully illustrated cocktail recipes add charm and personality to the site. These illustrations complement the overall brand aesthetic while making the content feel interactive and fun.
