It’s unusual for a globally focussed technology business to have it’s HQ in a small town. Despite having clients in over 20 countries, we find that getting it right at home in our local community is important for taking Rocketspark to the world.
Last Friday night we attended the Waipa Business Excellence Awards dinner at Mystery Creek as finalists in the Best Customer Service Cambridge category. We were also able to celebrate the success of 11 Rocketspark clients and design partners that were finalists in a range of categories — with 4 clients cleaning up 8 of the awards on the night.
As a team we had a great night and we loved that the other 3 finalists in our award category were all Rocketspark clients (Loulous, Rumor, Good Union). As it turned out, we tied first equal in the judges scoring with Loulous Salon and Day Spa for the Cambridge Customer Service Award. We were in good company here, as Loulous went on to win three other awards on the night, including the supreme award. Angelique Gellert (owner of Loulous) acknowledged Kaz Design Brand Web (Rocketspark Design Partner that designed the Loulous website on the Rocketspark platform), Business Success Partners (Rocketspark Design Partner and Loulous business coach) and Webb Wood Accounting (Rocketspark client) as key contributors to the success of Loulous. It’s great to see clients in our local business networks helping each other to be successful.
