About the Community Marketing Manager role
At Rocketspark, we’ve seen that the best growth comes from genuine human connection. We’ve been piloting community-led-marketing with events and content, and it’s working. Now we’re ready to commit properly and grow this channel with consistency and care.
The best part is you’re not starting from scratch. We already have a design partner community that trusts us. Your job is to nurture it, build an engagement rhythm people can rely on, and create experiences that help designers run better businesses and feel more supported.
Key skills and responsibilities
Builds community, online and in-person
Runs events, end to end

Essential skills
You don’t need to have every skill listed to be successful in this role. If you’re excited by the work and can see yourself growing into parts of it, we’d love to hear from you.
We’re looking for someone with:
Proven ability to build, grow, and manage online and offline communities.
3+ years of relevant marketing experience
Strong engagement and relationship-building skills.
Expertise in planning, organising, and executing events of various scales, including webinars, workshops, meetups, and conferences.
Strong writing and content creation skills.
Ability to produce engaging and relevant content for the community.
Proficiency in managing social media platforms.
Strong project management instincts and calm under pressure.
Great taste and strong writing. You can make things feel human, not corporate.
Comfortable with measurement and reporting.
Bias toward action, plus the discipline to document what works.
Bonus points if you have experience in SaaS, small-business audiences, partner ecosystems, and/or using HubSpot.
Key responsibilities
Build and grow community with purpose
Lead the next phase of our design partner community, expanding reach, increasing participation, and deepening trust with the partners who build Rocketspark sites for their clients.
Create an engagement rhythm people can rely on across a mix of in-person and online touchpoints.
Make it easier for partners to connect with each other and with us, and feel supported, seen, and proud to recommend Rocketspark.
Build an events program that works
Lead events planning in partnership with the Head of Marketing across online and in-person formats (workshops, webinars, partner sessions, customer stories, meetups).
Build a repeatable event engine: planning, promotion, registration, production, follow-up, and repurposing.
Own the calendar and decide what we do more of, what we stop doing, and what we test next.
Develop event series that build familiarity and trust over time, not one-off spikes.
Make it measurable
Track outcomes, not just activity. Key measures include new partners and partner sites created, alongside engagement health signals that show whether the community is growing in a meaningful way.
Build reporting that helps the team make decisions faster and makes what’s working obvious.
Learn from every community, event, and initiative, then bake those lessons into the next one.
Create content from the room and communicate
Turn events into content (clips, recaps, templates, how-tos, quotes, and partner stories) and distribute it to drive ongoing community engagement.
Use modern tools (including AI) to move faster while keeping quality high.
Why join Rocketspark?
This is a chance to make your mark in a strategic growth role and build something meaningful with a supportive team.
You’ll also enjoy:
A friendly, rewarding environment with great people
4 weeks leave, plus birthday leave
Feel Good Fridays (a half day off each month, excluding holiday weeks)
Employee assistance programme
