About the
Head of Marketing Role at Rocketspark

This is an incredible opportunity to lead marketing for Rocketspark and make your mark by shaping the future of a growing SaaS company.

As Head of Marketing, you’ll play a critical role in driving growth - owning both strategy and execution in a high-impact leadership position reporting directly to the CEO. You’ll be responsible for generating awareness and driving acquisition through two key channels: our direct channel (businesses building their own websites) and our partner channel (designers building sites for clients and adding accounts over time). Your success will be measured by the outcomes you deliver - not just activity.

This role is perfect for someone who can move between strategy and hands-on delivery with ease, is deeply motivated by growth outcomes, and believes great marketing is built on human connection, not just AI prompts and media spend. You’ll roll up your sleeves to deliver digital, content, community and campaign initiatives, shape messaging, coach team members, and work closely with our external agency (Atlas Digital) to drive results. You’ll lead a small (growing) team, including interim responsibility for our sales function, so confidence owning the full customer funnel is key.

We’re not just running campaigns - we’re creating a community-led approach to growth. This is a unique opportunity to make an impact through marketing, in a more connected, human way.

What you'll do

  • Deliver measurable customer and partner acquisition - and report on it.

  • Own and execute the full-funnel marketing strategy across partner and direct channels - including paid and organic media, community, events and brand, SEO and content.

  • Champion our community-led growth model and spotlight our incredible design partners.

  • Lead our approach to content marketing, using storytelling and thought leadership to drive impact and relevance.

  • Bring an experimentation mindset - test, learn, and iterate quickly.

  • Coach, lead and grow the marketing team, with a collaborative culture that’s fun and focused on results.

  • Shape brand positioning and messaging that cuts through the AI noise.

  • Partner with our agency to move fast on digital performance and SEO.

  • Know your numbers and communicate results with clarity.

Who are you?

  • 5+ years in senior B2B SaaS marketing roles, owning both strategy and execution.

  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to align marketing strategy to business outcomes

  • Proven track record developing and executing effective acquisition campaigns across paid and organic media, content and SEO, social and email.

  • Deep marketing funnel and conversion optimisation experience

  • Analytical and data driven, with a test-learn-iterate mindset

  • Have a knack for combining performance marketing with a love for brand and storytelling.

  • Are known for getting things done - working through ambiguity and delivering results collaboratively and creatively, at pace.

  • Hands-on and practical — thrive in a dynamic environment and small team, able to switch rapidly between strategy and execution  ( crafting landing pages one day,  pitching strategy the next).

  • Structured, pragmatic thinker who can bring clarity to the inevitable chaos of growth -  using process to enable agility, not slow it down.

  • Self-motivated team player with a strong bias to action and an urgency to deliver outcomes that can be clearly measured.

  • Bring a continuously evolving approach to AI  – using it to  enhance marketing, not replace human creativity.

  • Have direct people-leadership experience,  leading and mentoring small, cross-functional teams.

  • Familiarity with marketing automation, CRM and analytics tools (e.g. Hubspot, Google Analytics)

  • Extra special bonus points: Experience in community-led marketing, partner ecosystems, and SMB-focused software.
