As a recent add-on partner to Xero, one of New Zealand's largest accounting software companies with over 250,000 users worldwide, Rocketspark was invited to attend their annual Xerocon in Auckland, February 19-21. This was an opportunity for us to showcase our product to the 900+ accountants in attendance and to meet and share with the other 25 add-on partners.
At Rocketspark, we view accountants and bookkeepers as trusted business advisors, and so we're really keen to help educate them about best website practice for their clients.
Some highlights of the two-day conference were listening to Rod Drury (Xero CEO) share the vision for Xero's next 12 months, gaining insight into the key upcoming feature developments, and meeting a lot of the other fantastic add-on partners.
Rocketspark's main integration with Xero is for the e-commerce feature. Invoices generated in the online shop are pushed into Xero ready to be reconciled when the payment comes through from the bank account.
We were very lucky to meet a lot of interesting people and to have the valuable networking opportunity that Xerocon offered.
