Our site of the month winner for the months of January and February combined is Katherine Holland with her own design business website Katherine Holland Design (KHD). This thoughtful, modern and functional design results in a very professional looking business website.

The design uses a simple and sophisticated colour palette that is calm and inviting. The colours used are completed by the three typefaces chosen for the main headings, sub headings and paragraph text. The display serif typeface used in the main headings not only looks fitting for the theme of the website, but it also clearly distinguishes each section of content. All of the content is well spaced, the call to actions are clear and contact forms are prominent.

Katherine has made great use of recently released header features. The header is at full width and she has added an ‘enquire’ button to the header as well. Aesthetically the header looks trendy and modern, but it's also added another layer of functionality to make it that extra bit easier for her clients to make an inquiry.
