About the role

Rocketspark is seeking an amazing writer and someone with proven experience in a marketing coordinator role. You need to be able to write and implement marketing campaigns with accuracy, therefore an eye for details is essential. 
 
You need to draw out key benefits of Rocketpark’s product features quickly, and be comfortable with innovation and ongoing learning about their platform as it evolves over time.
 
Insightful written and verbal skills are required as you convert tech-talk into everyday language for the company’s different audiences. You need to be thorough and process-minded when setting up campaigns, you’ll be someone who can take a brief and bring campaigns to life. 
 
The ability to think strategically and test and learn will be advantageous as you’ll be working with an agile and collaborative team who love continuous improvement.

This role would be ideal for a communications specialist (ideally from product background but not essential) with more than 2 years experience. 

This is a rewarding role because you’ll be a key contributor to equipping customers with the best digital tool available at Rocketspark, and you’ll enjoy celebrating success with them. Every Rocketspark feature is innovatively different which means this role offers variety, as no two days will be the same. 

This is a full time position but Rocketspark will consider flexibility around working hours for the right candidate. Apart from creating segmented product marketing content and implementing marketing campaigns for different distribution channels, this role may include moderate amounts of social media management, delivery of newsletters, and updating content for rocketspark.com.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Formal tertiary qualification in marketing, communications, PR, or related field 
  • 2 years or more experience working in a similar role
  • Amazing written and verbal communication skills
  • Great attention to detail, thorough and organised in campaign implementation
  • A self-starter who can prioritise tasks in line with goals and manage your own workload
  • Quick learner — come up to speed quickly and adapt to the role as required
  • Results-driven and having a growth mindset

Desired but not essential

  • Experience working with internal and external creative and media agencies
  • Experienced with Google Adwords and other paid digital channels
  • Experienced with segmented email marketing
  • Has worked in SaaS, software or other tech industry
  • Creative design skills, graphics and ability to produce simple videos
