The most recent example of this was giving away over 500 free website subscriptions to our design partner community to pass on to not for profit organisations in their communities from all over New Zealand, Australia & the UK.

About the Role

Rocketspark is looking for exceptional Customer Service Specialists who love helping people and developing strong customer relationships to join our friendly and approachable Customer Success team. 

The successful candidate will be assisting our customers with email and phone enquiries, as well as guiding customers on their website journey as they move from potential customers to delighted promoters of the brand.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Prioritising and responding to customer enquiries within the online support ticket system
  • Making and receiving customer support phone calls
  • Escalating technical problems to the technical support team
  • Delivering exceptional, timely service helping customers to reach their goals by making the most of their Rocketspark website
  • Looking for, suggesting and where possible implementing process improvements so the team can efficiently deliver better service to their customers to improve the business
  • Gathering customer insights to help improve Rocketspark’s product proposition and identify business opportunities

Skills Required

  • A quick learner who has a natural affinity for technology, able to pick up new systems easily
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A good listener who can relay information clearly and simply with ease
  • Energetic, positive and a people-liker
  • Conscientious and a finisher - someone who can be trusted to take a query or a task to its completion by following the relevant process
  • Attention to detail - consistency demonstrate a high level of accuracy and thoroughness when accomplishing a task
  • Initiative - is able to spot opportunities to improve things and take action unprompted
  • Creative thinker and a good problem solver - someone who can adapt and think outside a process or the way things have been done before if it makes sense to do so

Work position

You’ll be based at Rocketspark’s headquarters in downtown Cambridge. Cambridge is a beautiful tree-lined riverside village with a bustling cafe and retail culture only footsteps from the office - surrounded by rolling hills and only 1-2 hours from beaches, mountains and cities.

Successful candidates need to be available to work a minimum of 10 hours per week as thorough training is provided. There are different shifts available throughout the week between our working hours 7:30am and 7:00pm. Only applicants with the right to work in New Zealand will be considered for this position.  We offer part time and full-time opportunities.
