What you'll need to bring to the role
We’re on the hunt for a Digital Content Creator who thrives in the dynamic world of digital storytelling. If you have a flair for creating engaging, high-quality digital content (and are particularly skilled with using video to do this), you have a keen eye for digital trends and know what spins well in the world of social media - you could be just who we're looking for!
In this role, you'll be at the heart of our creative process, bringing the team’s fresh ideas to life and helping make a real impact in our vibrant, community-focused company. At Rocketspark, we know that cleverly-crafted digital content can inform, connect and inspire our community.
Essential Skills, Knowledge & Experience
Photography & Videography Expertise: Proficient in capturing high-quality images and videos, understanding composition, lighting, and storytelling through visuals. Including a portfolio of previous work.
Editing Skills: Skilled in photo and video editing software (such as Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro, Cap Cut or Final Cut Pro).
Social Media Savvy: Experience in creating content for various social media platforms, with an understanding of platform-specific requirements and best practices.
SEO Awareness: Knowledge of how visual content can be optimised for search engines.
Trend Awareness: Staying up-to-date with the latest trends in photography, videography, and digital content creation.
Attention to Detail: Precision in ensuring all content is on-brand, consistent in style and quality.
Project Management: Ability to manage multiple content projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and objectives.
Industry Experience: Prior experience in a digital content creation role, preferably within a similar industry or sector.
Collaborative Projects: Experience working collaboratively on projects, showcasing an ability to contribute to and enhance team efforts.
Content Creation: Strong ability in creating engaging and visually appealing content tailored to various digital platforms (social media, websites, blogs).
Creative Flair: An eye for design and ability to translate brand identity into visual narratives.
Storytelling: Aptitude for crafting stories that connect with and captivate our audience.
